I've owned an 08 Bullitt for 6 weeks and while I was washing it the other day, I noticed that the clearcoat is already damaged. It looks like several spots of it are missing on the hood and rear bumper. It looks OK in shade, but looks really bad in direct sunlight. (my cameraphone quality is not good enough to capture the images) Have any of you seen anything like this? The pattern looks like a liquid was sprayed on and dissolved the clearcoat. Has anyone had to talk to a dealer about something like this? Please help, it's got less than 1,000 miles on it and it's killing me!

take it to the dealership...thats probably your best bet....and your car is fcucking awesome by the way.

Yeah, can't see anything in the pictures. Actually, my first advice would be to try to find a decent bodyshop/
paint shop and get their take on it (how it might have happened) and what it would take to fix it right. THEN
go back to the dealer armed with information about what they're gonna do to make it right...

Dealership will just blame the problem on Ford and tell them to contact ford's sh*tty customer service line.
