Someone told me that a tune is useless unless u have other mods. I have K&N intake, thats it. V6 (which I have) or V8. I thought I heard lots of V6 guy's say that it wakes up the car.

Useless?[8D]

I have the Steeda intake/SCT Tune combo from Brenspeed. Had to go back to stock intake/tune for a few days to get an inpection sticker. Could not get my Steeda and tune back on fast enough!

You won't be dissappointed.

As far as tunes, I got an 87, 89 and 93 tune (91 isn't available here). I've been running the 87 tune and just decided to
upload the 93 tune. I find it smoother than the 87, that seems to be the biggest difference, since I get limited opportunities
to "get on it". Also, my mpg has gone up a bit 2 - 3 mpg it seems. Need a few more tanks of fuel to get an average. I'll
be keeping it this way for a bit I think, but my "butt dyno" likes the upgrade (and the placebo effect).

Probably still costs me more, but at least I'm using less gas, that's what I told the Prius guy who was giving me crap...

And I have a lot more fun driving it.

It would be the other way around other mods are useless w/o a tune It is the tune that gets the gains improves throttle repsonse and for autos you'd be amazed what the top tuners can do these days with the trans.
