Depends on how tall you are...
I'm 5.7 and that mirror is never in my way.

Hey first mustang send us some pictures; I am not saying that I don't believe you I just don't understand why you would do that. I drive a 2008 F350Super Duty at work and pull a 30' Featherlight trailer alot. I have gotten so used to not looking at the rear view mirror that I don't even notice it in my Mustang and I only use the side mirrors.

Also never had a problem with it, but like I do in all my vehicles, it is up all the way.

Just adjusted up, there are two pivots, one on the glass, one on the mirror, pivot glass side up.

I am 6'1 and I actualy intsalled a larger mirror in there. Its larger because my car came with a regular one and I installed an autodiming/temp probe/compas mirror with map lights. So its thicker longer and higher than the stocker.

I have my seat all the way down and have absolutly no problem with it. Hell I use it more than any other mirror due to 95% of my driving being at night, and its easier to see cars behind you when they are not blinding you.

I have no idea why some of you are complaning.

i barely notice my mirror i moved it up so far it touches the headliner
Thanks for a great tip!! Remembered to try this today, and it is MUCH better. Don't know why I never thought of it, but it sure gives a much clearer view to the passenger side. I'm 6 ' 1", and do not keep my seat adjusted all the way down. Just like to sit a bit higher. I was always looking around the mirror, but this solved it.....

Thanks.....
