Define "handles better." My vert came stock with subframe connectors. They have a suspension that sits lower in the back, and when the top is in the down position, puts the extra weight over the rear tires for less spin on take off. How about the vert holds its value longer than the coupe?

im with ya with the coupe, its more muscle car and less...well...girly (?) i mean the coupe handles better stock and the lines are a lot cleaner, if you want a convertible why not just get a camry convertible? better gas mileage and it would look just about as muscular as a mustang convertible...sorry but coupe is just the way to go

ok it doesnt hold its value longer, here below are two identical cars off nada except the coupe/vert option...

a new mustang's price increase to a vert is $5000, the difference in those two is only $2300 so its lost more money than the coupe, so yea bite your own words

no i said it was better than a camry, i just said that when i see a vert going down the road it doesnt catch my eye anymore than a camry vert pretty much cause all the verts around here are bone stock and have a girl with her girlfriend in the passenger seat with there round hats and scarfs and big sunglasses

just one quick instance even last night after work a guy in the parking lot with a 350z complimented me on my car and said "i dont like mustangs but thats nice, at least its not a convertible though, i would never buy on of those" swear to god those were his exact words and the only word i spoke was "thanx"

well start a forum about a mustang with 20's (with a 13" wide rear tire) vs a 300 and then we'll see, but anybody can change the springs and say it handles better than a stock coupe...you could also add a supercharger and say it's faster than a stock coupe, but then again you could do the same thing to a stock coupe and say it faster than a s/c vert, you cant compare a vert with money dumped into to a stock coupe and say it handles better cause you could do the same thing with a coupe

uhm, what? Car and Driver does NOT dump money into the cars they test. The test cars AS THEY COME from the factory. That was a stock vert they were reviewing.
