Default 245-45-R17?

Do any of you run 245-45-R17's as opposed to the stock tire size?

I am currently running 245/45/17. I think it leaves too much wheel gap. You could lower it, but the lowest you could go would be 1.2 to 1.3 inches, even then you would still have a gap. When these tires wear out, I am getting 18" rims. Here is a pic

Yes, I agree...there appears to be too much wheel gap. I think the stockers are 235-45-R17 correct? Anyone?

No, Stockers are 235/55/17. 235/45/17 would have even more wheel gap than 245/45/17. I did have 255/50/17 before. The good thing is they look better. The bad thing is most places do not stock that size.
