lowering springs? or more?
I am going to be getting new wheels later in the summer and i want to lower it now. I want to just do some lowering springs but is there something else that should be done with it. What springs work the best? does any of this void the warranty?

RE: lowering springs? or more?
Which springs depends on what you want - how low and how stiff. The Eibach Pro springs are a good mix and very popular- ~1.5 drop and stiff but not overly so. Steeda ultralights are a little less drop and a little less stiff. Eibach Sportlines are a big drop ~2" - if you are interested in these be very sure you are well informed of all the negatives before purchase. There are many other choices.
If you are lowering on the cheap then just springs will work but you will be making a lot of compromises. The way to properly lower a car is:
- Adjustable Dampers
- Adjustable pan hard bar
- Springs
- Some sort of camber adjustment
- Good alignment
- If you want a one piece driveshaft at some point then you will also need an adj UCA or LCAs
- If you are into drag racing you will probably want relocation brackets for the LCAs
Lowering the car could void some parts of your warranty. For example, if you lower the car and then have some issue with the differential...the dealer could probably claim it was caused by the lowering (i.e the pinion angle is off). Or if you have an axle issue or experience "klunking" noises. But it won't void the warranty on your engine, interior, etc.
