I have an 05 GT. Saturday after starting the car, my fuel guage went from F to E, then the Low Fuel light came on. It went back to F again then back to E again and this time the Emission light (engine) light illuminated. Now the fuel guage is working ok today, but the Emission light is still on. Anyone else had this problem?

 

this is what mine did :

Second time this fault has occured within a week.

Symptom: Gas gauge goes to "E" and color (backlighting)of dial turns red,

Message Center reads the following: Chime* "Fuel Level Low - Data Error" then it displays "Flow Level Low - DTE FLI Data ERR"

This has occured with a full tank, or near full.
I have had the tank replaced per the TSB(shutting off prematurly<can I say that???) .

I have contacted my Ford Rep. warranty will be fixing this fault......soon.
