Default protective side molding removal

Yeah after looking at every other mustang under the sun I really dont like these things anymore I thought they were on all V6s but they arent. I pulled just a bit and I can tell its just glue holding them on , Any special way or guide to removing them ?

I do think they take away from my Rocker Panel Stripes and I cant have that cause I love those

And No I didnt add them they came like straight from the Ford Dealer first guy leased it so I doubt he did it

Use some fishing line and run through it...Just use some Alcohol or simple green to get rid of any sticky stuff afterwards.

You'll like it better without the rocker stripes tooI felt the same way you did and when I took them off, I didnt miss'em at all!

Must have been a rental maybe? Anytime I rent a mustang it has those on it. But yeah, it will look 10x better when you get rid of them.

Careful use of a heat gun or even a blow dryer and lifting them gently by hand should get them off, hopefully there wont be much adhesive left, as its a pain to remove.

I'd use the blow dryer AND the fishing line. No worries about scratching the finish. The heat will soften the tape and the line will cut throught it MUCH easier.
