sticker remover

RE: sticker remover
peel back corner and slowly remove tape with hairdryer ahead of tape to soften and remove the stripes with most the adhesive left on the tape itself. Then go ahead and use alcohol or "adhesive remover" from a grocery store for any residue. Then clay, polish, and wax the entrie car and you should be fine and it will look like they were never there!... Welcome to the forum!

RE: sticker remover
Pull them back on themselves instead of at a 90 degree to the vehicle surface.
Less chance of pulling clearcoat off along with the stripe.
If they have been on there for a while, your paint might be slightly
sun faded and the paint under the sripes will not be sun faded.
You could end up with unfaded stripes of paint where the stripes used to be. []

RE: sticker remover
good idea with the painting, spendy however. (fyi a 12,000$) addon on the Ford GT supercar, well a mandatory addon. anyway, what i did was the same concept as everyone else here. VERY carefully use a razor to start the peel at the perfect angle. i used a medical blade for the angle. ran a heat gun ahead of it and heavly hosed it down with CHEMSEARCH multi-purpose remover industrail strenght. and i did it in the cold in NY too. the reason i took mine off, i liked them and all, but they were nasty dealer installed and they were bubbled and not straight and cut uneven. good luck
