Actually, because of the material and the finish, it does not seem to reflect the sunlight at all. The chrome trim on the instruments and vents reflects about 10 times more sunlight than the dash kit does.

Got my dash back in one piece tonight......
Well two pieces ..... a stupid peice of metal (support for factory radio) had to die !!!
My interconnects were being blocked by it and the headunit would not fit in all the way.
Metra's kit looks very nice!

As for the *****. I did finally get them on correctly and no they do not have stops on them, but they function fine without the stops.
Pretend the two extremes on each dial extend on to the bottom. Works fine LOOKS FANTASTIC!

I too purchased the ***** from upr. When I installed the first one I noticed that it did not appear to have a stop, so I inspected the other ***** before I installed them. They had stops. After installing all three, i noticed that the stops did not appear to work as the ***** spun all the way around. That was until I pushed really hard on the ac selector **** "POP!" It snapped in place, stops started engaging. Firm press on the other two achieved the same results on them. Only thing is, now I can't get the ***** off. Oh well the look so freaking cool why would i

I purchased my A/C ***** from UPR and they work great just do not light up. Where did you get the Steeda ones that do light up from?

I like the dash you have. SSInserts have one for Verts I am looking at however, what trim did you go with?? And does the inserts just tape over the orginal or does it replace them??

Was your dash kit Brushed Alum? I just ordered mine from dash kits and they did have Vert's you just have to call and order. Did you order the Molded or Flat. The guy told me to buy Molded so I did however, it did not come with the door lock insert piece.

Which did you buy?? Looks great!!!
