I will pimp the stuff once again.
Amsoil makes a fuel cleaner called PI. I had a problem child car and that is the only stuff that worked out of all I tried. I admit, I never tried Chevron gas or Techron additive. No Chevron stations in Kansas City that I know of and Texacos are sparse. I use one of 2 BP stations that have 92 octane. All others are 91, unless I feel like spending $7/gal for 100 octane splash once in a while. With higher outside temps, a few gallons here and there helps keep detonation at bay.
