Turbonetics Turbo

RE: Turbonetics Turbo
Sorry to hear about the problems, but its a good thing you had the knowledge and $$ to get it running right.
I was on the fence between a whipple and turbo, finally went whipple because I figured I would have the least problems with it. Talking to my installer he said it was the only kit that he has installed that practically fall on the car. Nothing needs tweaked or corrected. 15k miles so far and not 1 prob.
Your car looks sick and I am sure runs great now.
You need to move out of Commiefornia, to a great state like FL. No emmisions.

The crappy part is it will pass emissions testing. It will not pass the visual inspection of emissions testing...

Caution I noticed you live in California, is that thing going to pass emissions, that's one thing that kept me from running a turbo set up. Glad to hear the car is running strong.

Caution,
I'm sure you will be more happy with the kit converted to blow through anyways. It sucks to spend extra money you had saved for something else but it's the cost of playing the game. The overheating issues seems strange. Was the car actually like it was hot or did the gauge just indicate higher temps? Even driving my car a hard, making hot laps in the 100+ heat I've had zero issues with overheating. Lucky me I guess. The STS kit didn't come with any extra fuel delivery either. Go figure. That problem has been taken care of now (GT500 pumps with dual BAPs 60 lbs injectors) along with a built motor. Most of the turbo manufactures will tell you they can get mor epower out of the stock pump compared to an SC because of the efficency of the turbos and how SCs use some power to make power.
STS has been mediocre in their support after my purchase. I've sent several emails and they failed to respond.I finally called and had a good covnersation with someone there who answered my questions, so they made some ground back now.
BTW, how much power can your turbo support and how big is it?
