So I have this real nice roll of black vinyle and looking at the front of my dads car I got an idea. I thought I have seen this before but I can't remember. My idea is to put a strip on the lower middle part of the bumper like the one in this chopped picture.

 

Try it, if you don't like it peel it off.

yea i have seen a company on ebay offer those pieces for GT's. i plan on doing it myself as soon as i get my GT front.

I would but I don't have any. I got the pic of the net because I didn't have any of my dads handy. I will be doing it too.

 

I don't think it would look too bad, kind of like a CS on the cheap, I just wonder how well it would hold up since it would be the first place to take damn from rock chips. I guess that would be better then the paint getting it though.

 

That's actually what brought this idea on was he got hit with a piece of metal that took a good chunk of paint dead center.
