Well, I finally pulled the trigger. After debating back and forth, for the past two weeks, and looking at what seemed like a million video clips on YouTube, I just ordered my Ford Racing ceramic coated shorty headers and a Magnaflow true X pipe with high flow cats from Jegs. I’ve looked at, again what seemed to be a million web sites, and Jegs had by far the best price. I’m having them installed next week for $600.

 

sounds like a nice setup. do you have any saved clips on youtube or whatever of a similar setup?

There are a fewdifferences though,his exhaust dumps into borla stingers, mine will dump into Magnaflow 3" cat backwith Magnapacks, he has aSteeda CAI, I have an Airaid CAI.Same headers, samecatted Magnaflow true X pipe. I'm think that my finished exhaust will sound very simmilar. I'm pummped. [sm=wootwoot.gif]

Of all the mods we can get for our stangs, I would love to have some headers and a tough sounding cam.

 

Sounds great. To be honest though. I went through all the YouTube videos I could find...and they all sounded great. Well 90% did. I guess video just doesn't capture the concussion of a really killer exhaust setup.

 

The shorty headers make any exhaust sound so sweet. I love the way my stang sounds, not to loud, be not even close to stock. Congrats man.
