Push button start
I think it's still cool even if you have to use the key.
It's only a 2 step process
. Like a race car: 1. Ignition
2. Start
How hard is that? You lazy *****...
I think the real problem is the price of the switch assembly[8D].
The key in pocket deal is also a sweet thing...

Don't be afraid to tear apart you car people.
Ok, I have a question about push button starter as well. I have one that the guy who owned the car before me had installed. I was noticing the 12 volt button Hurst shift handles. Has anyone ever heard of wiring the push button on the shifter handle to the push button relay and having a push button shift handle? I like my push button start, but I think that would be really cool.
Thats bs HID's are great and really help you see better at night
Why do you have 20" Shelby Redlines? Your factory wheels did the job. Why do you have HID's? I'm sure you could see at night with your factory lights. Why do you have Sequential taillights? You can't even see them working when you drive. Oh, I know why, because you thought each one of these either made your car look better (rims & HID's) and because you thought it was cool (sequentials)
I read through most of this but all of haters complaining about what a waste of cash this was kinda distracted me from the answer I was looking for.... I understand that you can put the key in and press the button or just turn the key all the way but my question is on the manual trans do you still have to dip the clutch to get it to start via the button?
I think it's kind of cool but those people comparing it to other non-functional appearance mods are a little of base. This mod is really anti-functional as it actually forces you to take another step when turning on the car. I'd just feel kind of dumb explaining why I installed it when it actually hampers the simple process of starting the car. That's just me though.
