RE: new exhaust *Vids*
I really like those dynamax bullets. It would be hard to get something sounding better under all conditions. My MAC axle backs sound BEAUTIFUL at idle and under 2k rpm but crap after that. i think those dynamax's sound really good! How bout a full throttle run past, with a grain mill for neighbors who will care? I'd love to hear that thing full throttle.

Nevermind, just listened to your 2nd vid again. lol. Bullets no doubt. Hope that wasn't a Sunday morning with the church across the street! If I tried that in my neighborhood the entire Williamson county police force would show up!

thanks guys. I finished tightening everything up on the bullets. guess i'll leave those on for now. I'll probably change again sometime, i get so jealous when I hear a nice '04 or older cruise by with the classic rumble. i'm gonna try and get another video of takeoff from a little farther away today

I know how you feel. I've been trying to replicate the sound of my 01' since I got the car last year. I've had 4 different exhaust setups so far and finally settled with the Pypes mid-muffler (bullets under car). Sounds a great deal like yours.
Sounds like you're pretty good with exhaust work. If you ever successfully get some chambered mufflers under the car, let us know! That will probably be the only way toregain that goodold sound.

i'd love to squeeze some chambered ones underneath to hear it. I've thought about getting these http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/10_race.html
but i'm not sure ho wthey will fit or sound. It's getting expensive at $250 each to try different exhausts!

Ha, yeah I've spent a pretty penny on different setups. Thank god for Ebay and Craigslist to help recoup some of the losses. I've seen several different types of small chambered mufflers and wouldlove to see if some could be retrofitted. I'm sure it would sound REALLY good.
