Default Painted any Pypes Violators???

I have the Pypes Violator axleback exhaust (the unpolished version)...has anybody out there taken these and painted them with a heat resistant paint? (not the tips)I am getting tired of looking at the welds...just curious what they would look like...pics would be nice...thanks

I never did but I wish I had. Mine has some surface rust on it thats annoying. I would get some silver exhaust paint and spray them up.

I am just to lazy to take them off to paint them so I live with it.

Word of advice to others though. Do it when they are new prior to install.

The surface "rust" is actually corrosion, and is good for the T409 metal in them. It'll actually help it resist rust. But it does look like rust. Spray them with a degreaser, sand them up, and use a couple of coats of high temp paint.

ive done it i used 1200 degree header paint in black looks fantastic and is super easy just wrap the tip with a towel and spray evenly its really easy make sure u clean them first with some soap and water and make sure they are dry lol but other then that its real easy. use duplicolor high heat header paint with ceramics 1200 deg
