Are the tweeters special? Or are they a typical / common size? Just curious. Also - any issues with the wiring harness for the mirror control - any splicing necessary? Thanks.
The Tweeters are Dynaudio. You can flush just about any 3/4" to 1.1" tweeter there without a problem. The driver's side is harder because part of it is raised for the mirror control (vs the pass side completely flat).

There are 6 or 7 wires that need to be extended to get the control down there. Just splice and solder. Thanks for the thumbs up.

Sure. The most tedious part is placement (centering)in the window switch panel (because part of goes back under the door panel when you snap it back in) and dremeling the odd shaped hole to put it in. For the tweeter you'll need a dremel and a bench grinder.
I'll bullet point the steps later.
