Hate to be the bearer of bad news .... but I guarantee there are more 2005-2008 Mustang non-GT500's with GT500 body kits on the road than there are actual GT500's ... and I'm on of them ...

It's one of the best looking and least expensive body kits on the market for our cars ... and it's OEM perfect fit to boot! And the hood is aluminum instead of glass ... even better.

I hope you plan to swap in a v8 also...
FI should do the job with the 4.0 V6. Its proven to be a pretty damn stout motor and responds well to boost.

I am going to have to say that there is probably WAY more real cobras than clones on the road BUT i am a big fan of the conversion and its on my list of things to do this winter.

i'am hoping by stupid cobra that in his opinion it is stupid to keep the cobras when doing thefront end upgradeonto a non cobra mustang.
Yes, thats what I meant. I can't stand it when people put badges on their cars to clone. Body kits are okay, but when you slap on the badges....no.

I'd say use the money the body kit costs, make a good down payment on a GT 500...many dealers are now selling at or just below MSRP.

That hardly makes sense ... Spend $3K on a car you already own ... or blow $40K on a new car ... that for the most part wouldn't make sense to use asa daily driver. So should all they guys spending $5K to F/I their cars use that money on a GT500 down payment also?
