Default V6-GT500 Help

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about doing a GT500 front fascia conversion. The grilles, headlights, bumper, foglights, etc.

So far the cheapest I've seen is on ebay. I can get it for $1,500 and pick it up, so no shipping. It would be flat cost.

Anyone who has done this conversion know where I can get it cheaper?

Why not?

I don't plan on keeping the stupid cobras either if thats what you think. I'm not like one of those guys who gets a V6 and puts GT or Cobras emblems on. My plan is to integrate the silver running horse on the front of the upper grille and then put 'V6' emblems on either side where the 'GT' or 'Cobra' emblems usually are. I WANT people to know I'm a V6, but I want that GT500 front look.

I'm very familiar with body kits and I would never recommend the GT500 front costs anything below 2k for all your parts. 1.5k is a steal take the deal.

Yes it is just a Ford produced body kit.. But it was meant to be a visual statement from Ford to show on the outside that there is a beast under the hood and to do this to a v6 or even an underpowered v8 is an insult to the Mustang. Ya yaI am sure to get flamed but ask anyone who isnt a Mustang owner what Shelby or Cobra stands for and most if not all will tell you "Performance and power" whicha v6 in stock trim is neither and even heavily modified still falls far short of real Shelby performance. This is as bad as putting a 4cyl in a ZR1 Vette or Type R badges on a 75 hp civic.
