Mine used the factory bolts but it was for a 06. Email the makers and ask them any questions you want. tech@classicdesignconcepts.com

The difference between the 05-06 shaker and the 07-09 shaker is a cut out for a hose. All mounting is the same.
Yeah the engine cover part of the shaker touches the upper radiator hose. I was going to just notch it, but i'm going to remove the whole engine cover portion off and trim it out with some door edging. I plan to put a set of nice valve covers on eventually and want them to be seen. I don't really care for the way the whole engine is not visible. If i had it to do over i would have bought the shaker kit that fang performance has. It is a much nicer kit i think. It's the same kit that's on the car on the cover of the July issue of MM&FF. It wasn't available when i got mine. Plus i got a HELL of a deal on mine so i'm not fussing.

Be happy you didn't get the FANG system. It isn't as nice at all...

The Fang System also appears to be a lot more money!

But Brian, before you installed the shaker I would recommend cutting the huge ugly shroud down a bit. You can see how I did mine in my SIG. I can post a closer pic later but am at work right now and can't access photobucket.

I'm planning on it actually. I want to be able to see my engine. What did you use to put around it after you cut it?

I did not see this in any of the posts......If the car comes with the factory hood sccop, the hoodseal will NOT cover the front holes that mounted the factory hood scoop. Justso you know.

I bought some weather stripping from PEPBOYS. It had this huge rubber seal on one side of it. So I put that side down and tore off all the huge rubber and it left me with just the little plastic cap looking strip.

I used a cut off wheel and a dremel to trim it.

Here's from all angles of where I cut it...

Really? Why do you say that?
Was it tricky to cut near the part where the pipe exits the rear of the shaker, or the part where the pipe is shaped kinda flat and lays across the engine cover?
Too bad i cannot see your pictures. All i see are red x's.

No, it was easy. Underneath it there are a couple nuts you loosen and the whole things comes apart. So when I cut it, that elbow wasn't there.

Try these pics...
