I just masked around my stock taillights and painted it matte black. It took a whole 5 minutes to pull them off, 10 minutes to mask, 5 minutes to spray em' down. So about a 20 minute mod, but I let them sit overnight, then put them back on the next morning. I highly recommend this to any/everyone wanting black!

Anyone know where they sell the black ones? I wanna get some and paint them white!
Are you looking for metal or plastic? I have the AVS version1 slotted lenses which can be bought from Moss as well as ebay.

I'd like to see how these (chrome) look on my car too so I don't want to inve$t too much cause they may be a throw-away.

Anyone tried the ones on ebay for $25 from eseller_05?? Not a big investment - if I don't like them or they only last a few years, it's not a lot of bucks. My car is not a DD and never out in bad weather so they should hold-up.

From what i gather, they must be three pieces each side - one around the outside plus two vertical strips between the three light sections?

These are the one-piece stainless steel bezels that I've had on my Mustang for a year. The polished SS looks great, won't break or wear and install easily.

I really like the AVS ones. Planning to get them and maybe paint them in white. Not sure how that would look though.

I think it would look good. It should help blend the tail-lights in much better.

Either one man, something that can be painted white. I'd like to see them in white tho before I jump on this... I saw the ones from Moss, they might be the ones I go with if I do...
