Default Passenger side airbag recall

Sorry guys, been out of the loop for some time. I know this has been covered, but I've scrolled through ten pages and the search function isn't helping....

Anybody with mods/custom tune taken their Mustang in for this recall? I'm not sure if I trust my dealer to not f#%k something up in the process of doing whatever it is they need to do to protect small passengers not wearing their seatbelt, with the seat moved fully forward. I really DON'T want to take off my C&L/install stock tune if I don't have to.

They shouldn't mess with any of it. They don't even need to open the hood. All that is required is the RCM module needs to be reprogrammed. Most dealers will do this on the service drive while you wait because it won't take more then 5 minutes.

I told them not to touch the PCM and they said they didn't need to. Just like PROMETHEUS PRIME said.

The recall involves reprogramming the RCM, not the PCM.
