i seen the new bullitt steering wheel on mossmustangs. that i nice looking. but what it boils down to is, how hard are they to replace? has anyone done this? it says center cap and airbag not included, how hard are they to switch over? i cant seem to find anything online about it and im at work so i dont have my haynes or chilton on me.

That said, be careful with the air bag. I will agree that the steering wheel on the Bullitt is nice.....

 

I put a Bullitt steering wheel in my '07. It is very easy to do and does not require a wheel puller. Just make sure to disconnect the battery and wait for 10 minutes before you start messing with the airbag.

To remove the airbag you remove two screws that are on each side of the steering wheel behind round plastic caps. The caps just pry out. Once the two screws are removed you can unplug the two wires from behind the airbag. after that, unplug the wire for the cruise control and remove the big bolt in the middle. Reverse the process with the Bullitt wheel and your done. The whole process took less than 30 minutes including the time I waited after disconnecting the battery.
