today i went to scott air force base and ran auto-x. had a good time, i have been running at the drag strip for 3 years and i still love that but, i will still be going back to auto-x. it was fun i ran 8 times and went from 67.135 to a 59.474. hit 4 cones and spun out 3 times. if you have not tried it you need to. next one is, first weekend in august in matoon il. if anyone is interested..

Congrats - glad to hear when folks get involved with AX or Road Tracks, these cars are so good at it. You have a mighty powerful car to be on an AX course, no surprise you spun it, teaches you throttle control in a hurry LOL. With an auto...did you try left foot braking? Works really well, you can control the throttle input and transition from brake to acceleration much better. If you continue to AX, a few things that really help: super sticky tires, agressive alignment and get a GC lock (its a device that goes on your seat belt that locks the lap belt so you dont slide around).
