Default Tire Width

How big have you guys gone on the stock 18x8.5 wheels? As far as tire size?

Pics would be great!

Thanks!

I have 255/45/18 on mine. I want to get 275/45/18 next time.

The forum member "5th Gear" has 285/40/18 on the rear of his car. It looks sooo good!

I got a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires for about $150 apiece from www.onlinetires.com.

Here are a few pics.

The first four are the most recent, so I am running 5/8" wheel spacers all around in those pics. IMO, the 50mm offset of the bullitts kept the tires tucked under the fender a little too much.

I agree. I have 255/45/18 on the stock fan blades (18x8.5) and I wish I would have gone 275's.
I took pictures but they are too large (100 meg). I will try again with a different camera.

I run 265/40 on the rear and they work well

you could go 275/45 (it is an approve rim size) but there are only a few brands in that size and they are pricey - iirc $275+ a tire (rear only IMO)

255/45s work perfrect as well and those are on my front rims....
