Default wheel spacers.. INFO.. HELP

hey guys..

ok so im dropping the stang wiht an eibach pro kit and realllly trying to achieve this kind of low, wide look...

so im thinking about putting like 1/4" or 3/8" basic wheel spacers.. (just the cheap kind that slide on the studs).. does anyone know where to find a set locally or anything like that..

right now my rears are 18x10 wrapped in 295/45/18's..

i think just that liiittle extra width would help with the look im tryin to achieve.. (and yes i used to work at a tire shop.. i know anything and everything about these spacers and how ****ty/dangerous they are)

thanks for your time!

Get some MT 305/35 18"s..You'll be closer that not...since your rears are 18x 10's. The route you speak of won't make much difference but the fact that you'll look like you are "rollin on daytons" scateboarded out

So why do it, you are admitting how unsafe the cheap spacers can be......either get some quality ones or none at all.

lol?.. howarmat.. i only wish it was that easy!.. i cant afford to dish out 350 bucks for freakin adapters.. plus i dont thing they come in anything less then liek 3/4 or 1" bc they have to have room/space for the open end nut to hold the adapter/spacer onto the orgional stud

but i think when it comes time to get tires in a few months.. im going to get the 305/35.. is that the widest/tallest i can go? i was at discount tire the other day gettin some prices and was gunna squeeze a 305/45 DR but didnt wanna dish the money out.. how bout 315/35? gunna be even more expensive bc the the siewall hight.. but i will just do a street tire then

1. Drag radials are butt ugly
2. I have 5/8" non-adaptive wheel spacers with the centering rings and longer studs
3. Do your tires first. You'll probably not need spacers. I used to have 295/45/18 on 18x10 CT-R rims, and they stuck out plenty.
4. I'm all for trying to get that cobra look. It's a shame the GT500 isn't as nice looking. They could have done so much better with that platform. What's with the gay rocker stripes and the black rocker panels...a la v6????
