SCT3 Custom Tune Question..Bama and Brenspeed
I am currently running 3 Bamachip tunes, but want to try a Brenspeed tune. Can I overwrite one of my Bama tunes with the Brenspeed?? I would like to have 2 Custom Bama and 1 Brenspeed on my tuner...is that possible??? Since I changed my CAI from JLT to Steeda, the car isnt pulling like it used to. The 93 race from Bama is the only one that gets on it, the others are not doing so well. Makes me wonder if it's the Steeda CAI that is making the difference.

RE: SCT3 Custom Tune Question..Bama and Brenspeed
I didnt like how the JLT looked as far as all the hose clamps. I had to add another clamp and my MAF and the plastic tube because it kept coming loose. The Steeda tube seems just as bad, more hose clamps, more leak points. I already had to go in adjust the bottom part of the tube because it slipped out from the silicone hose clamp,so I think I am going to put the factory tube in its place.

Hopefully Bama emailed you a copy of the tunes, if not, he will. The reason
is you can not upload your tunes from the SCT to your pc. Also, when Brenspeed
emails you the tune, you probably won't be able to load it into bank #3 if you
have the Xcal2. At least I, along with others weren't able to. If you have the Xcal3,
then maybe you can.
If you got the xcal pre-loaded from Bama, the perf tune is in #1, torq in #2 and race in #3.
Or at least mine was loaded that way. Just overwrite 1 or 2.

RE: SCT3 Custom Tune Question..Bama and Brenspeed
I initially bought the sct3 from Doug at Bama with the JLT tunes. I bought the Steeda and he has emailed me 6 tunes so far, 3 of my orig tunes that I had running with the JLT, swapped with Steeda of course and 3 others. I have them saved on my hard drive on my PC. Right now I am running the 93 race, which is in slot 3. 93 perf is in slot 1 and 89 perf in slot 2. The only way you can load new tunes is to overwrite the existing ones. I am guessing since I have the other tunes on my hard drive, I can load them up at any time?? One slot doesnt interfere with another, which why I was wondering if could load a Brenspeed tune on slot 2?? Or maybe I am understanding it wrong. Yeah, should have went the C&L route like I was planning.

Yeah I know its good, but I guess mine aged. I am seeing that now since my Steeda hasnt really performed the way I thought it was. Plus the clearance between the hood blanket and the heat is at zero, so I am going to have to shave some down here in my shop. Not working out the way I wanted it to.

What I meant about the slot 3 issue is that there is a glitch with the Xcal2.
When trying to load a tune into slot 3 we would get an "not enough available space" error.
Since you have an Xcal3, it looks like you're good.
