Anyone have any suggestions for the best CAI that does NOT need a tuner to function properly. AKA no CEL or extreme fuel thinning.

 

I have the Airaid (v6) system, but I'm going to need a tune anyway when I go duals.

 

Airaid here as wellI like it, spoke to Doug from BAMA and hes gotten some good numbers from this CAI. I noticed a little difference when I installed it and now even more since I got duals...Plus when I go WOT it gives a nice whistle, I dont know if thats normal but, I like it

 

sorry....I got the tune and CAI combo....but I heard most CAI's work well regardless

 

Anyone know which brand for the GT works best?

 

I would really recommend spending the extra cash and getting aCAI that requires a tune. Especially if you plan on making more mods. You have a nice car line-up...looks like the money isn't an issue...

 

he'll come around soonenough...no one manages to resist the CAI for long

 

I have a GMS Motorsport CAI on my 2007 Mustang GT. They provide you with their own MAF meter and adapter so you don't need a tuner.

airaid....it can used without a tuner, and then when you get a tuner, you can remove the insert install a tune for that

 

I've got the GMS CAI also. Seems like a good one but I've never ridden in anybody elses car with a different one to tell any different.
