those with the OEM HIDs, do any of you have headlight splitters as well? would that cause problems with the light trajectory or no?

the headlight spliters do not cause problems. Aftermarket HID's are illegal, glare a lot and do not put down a circula rbeam, it ends up being cookie cutter shaped. Also you have a 20% chance of breaking your headlights or more rarely cuasing a fire. That's not an underestimate. With that said they are a quarter of the price. Keep in mind your stock lights are worth $100+so you can sell those.

I can't say either way but if the after market lights do fail then you have to rework everything. No fun imo.

I have the Retro-Solutions 35W, 6000K BiXenon kit (Yea, I think it was $160 like the other guy said) and I'm telling you like a friend, they couldn't be any better. I absolutely love 'em. They have a lifetime warranty which doesn't suck either. I can't imagine why anybody would spend $1000 when these are available, but it's your money.

Mr. Bape,
I have read people talking about the glare. I honestly haven't noticed it. I've had mine installed for the best part of a year and haven't been "flashed" in all that time. My 2006 has the black shield on the end of the bulb, I understand this makes a big difference. One article I read said the worst of theoffending light is that that comes out of the end of the tube, hence the black shield stops that. I've even gotten out of the car at night in heavy fog and looked at the pattern, I saw none of the stray beams of light in the fog that aftermarket HIDnaysayers talk about - just a nice cutoff. I'm not saying everybody's carworks as well as mine with the Retro-Solutions, but mine are great. I couldn't be any happier.
