I bought a shaker kit for my 07 then someone told me the trim ring doesnt cover the existing holes for the factory scoop.What now?

New hood, Plug holes somehow, or sell it....

yup maybe ninosport.com or newtakeoff.com might have some take off hoods for cheaper than buying one from ford... 379 plus shipping from newtakeoff.com or check around your area someone might want the factory hood scoop and wanna trade ya... always a chance...

Yeah , I was thinkin If somebody else had already done it then I could find out how far the holes would be from the trim ring.

You could always put an ad in the paper and try and trade hoods with someone local. Post on the forums looking for someone to trade hoods with. Post on craigslist looking for someone to trade hoods with.

I've seen people trade hoods on here before. It might be worth it for you. Other than that man, you are screwed.

Thanks for all the offers on my factory scoop. Ill sell it if the shaker works out but that looks like it will be a while. The color is tungsten. Ill post it in the classifieds.
