$79,000+ is a perfectly legitimate price for the KR. It is awesome. Maybe you need to read the reviews and stop staring at the sticker price that you obviously are afraid of!
I am sick of people posting how the latest Mustang is nothing special. Started back with the GT500, then the Shelby GT...
If you can't afford it STFU and build something better yourself and stay off the internet![:@]

2- I have read thereviews... many times over, thank you. Performance doesn't match up to price, according to my standards... clearly yours are different.
3- Afraid of the sticker price? No, sir. Afraid ofwasting nearlyone hundered thousand dollars on anything. Yes.
4 - No one said "the latest mustang is nothing special"... at all. Learn to read thoroughly before blowing up. The argument is whether or not the latest mustang is "special" enough to pay over 100K for.
5- If I cant afford it? Sir, please leave the net worth estimates to my financial advisors and stock brokers. they're much better at it than you.
6- Build something better? I wouldn't have to build something better. I can pay $90k and buy something "better".
7- Stay off the internet? Sir, when the internet becomes a place that only allows people to express opinions that match yours, i will kindly vow to never use this world wide web thingyagain.
the forum is a place of discussion... not a place of "STFU" or agree with me.
now, back to the matter.

In todays economy, 30+ over a GT500 is worth it IMO. But going well into the six figures, well, I'd start looking at other cars, Audi R8, Porsche Twin Turbo, MBZ CL63, .....................

People are buying these as collector items. Pay $150,000 for one now, garage it for 20yrs and resell for $500k. My buddy who has one ordered plans on doing this. He also has an early production 2005 GT500 that rarely leaves the garage.

Kind of ridiculouse to invest 150K in a car in hopes of reaping 1/2 mill in 20 years. Invest that same 150K and get 10% back each year plus interest and he would realize more on his investment.

RE: GT500 KR....79,995?????
We need to stop looking at cars as an investment, because they really are'nt good ones. Homes make 100x more sense as an investment. And the fact that theses knucklehead investors are buying these cars for the purpose of fututre flipping for some money, it puts some of these cars which are somewhat attainable, way out of reach for most.

RE: GT500 KR....79,995?????
I would pay that much for it if I was ultra rich with a 5,000 sq ft heated and cooled garage that has a living room and widescreen right next to all of my exotic cars.
It's still a mustang and still has the same cheap plastic, etc. It's still a very sweet car, but in my head, that's like the ZR1.
I wouldn't pay over 100 grand for a corvette ethier, even if it does go faster around the nurburgring than the 911 turbo, etc.
With $150k I would be looking at a Bentley Continental GT, Ford GT, or a pre-owned '05 F430, not a suped up shelby mustang, lmao.
