Thoughts on this '07 used GT?

RE: Thoughts on this '07 used GT?
Honestly I'd go in and offer them around 18K OTD and then work up to about 19k. No more than that. Plus make them tint the windows. I include that in every car I buy.

Have them "through" in the FRPP 4.10 gearsand CAI/Tune Racing pack and it will be under warranty as well. Then add UDP's and a custom tune from a shop. Remember it's used and new ones have upto a $4K rebate on them. Depreciation is a beautiful thing, my next stang will be lightly used so I can spend more on mods.

Trying to negotiate a "price" of a car is a fruitless endeavor if you are trading another vehicle. You cannot separate the two. Most states allow you to apply the price of the recently sold car towards your new car the same as a trade...they all have time stipulations, but you are probably ok...check with your state's tax office to be sure.
You can get the car for $15K...and they will shaft you on the trade...or give you a great trade value and shaft you on the other end.
Sell the Hyundai outright...and then go with cash in hand. Much better deal for you on both sides.
Not that this applies to you, but dealers make a majority of their money from uniformed buyers in "less than ideal" credit/financial situations. Getting someone to trade a car they are upside down on and into a loan with B rates is their cash cow...they generally have a special "sucker" bell they ring for such transactions. Sick, but true.
