Your car looks sick. Those wheels really set it off. The springs really make a big difference.

I just got some ford racing springs off ebay for 230 shipped. They drop it 1.5 in the front and rear, but you should def. consider dropping the back only. All the old 60's mustangs came out of the factory lower in the back, very old school.

is that a house, maybe your house in the background? lol trying not to be too off topic.

On a side note are the prolines a noticeable difference? I want to drive mine in Minnesota winters so I dont want to drop the car too much...

I'd always prefer to err on the side of caution when dropping larger amounts of money on parts. I would just wait for the wheels so you know what you're working with and can make the best decision. JMO

Are you refering to Pro-kit or Sportline?

I could not tell you about 20s, but the distance for my 18s I think are just right. As reference, the rear has a distance of approx. 3/4" away from top of tire to the wheel well while the front is at about 1".

No fan of Sportlines or any of the other extreme lowering choices here.

They're good for showing the car and acceptable for daily driving as long as you can live with the compromises.

But there is plenty of room for argument about whether the cornering/handling is any better than OE. In two words, "it's not".

Looking like it should corner better does not always translate to actually doing so. When I installed stiffer springs in my autocross car, they dropped it too far. There was essentially the same amount of roll, and with less suspension travel left I was rubbing the outside tires severely in just about every maneuver, both ways, and with the adjustable struts set full stiff all around. And that's with tires that are slightly shorter than the OE size.
