I think they are the new style. At least that is what was told to me. I have never seen the old style and I just bought these 7 weeks ago and they have been in for 5 weeks. They gap just like traditional plugs and as I have stated, they seem to be working better for me than the HT0's I use to have. Maybe I am just lucky or maybe this is the new design and Brisk fixed them?!
