RE: Hmmmm... Mud Flaps?
If you guys like em fine, but I wont do mud flaps for the same reason I wont put a bra on the car...... Stand back a few feet and ya wont see bugs or small chips, but that ugly bra [and flaps] can be seen fer blocks!

RE: Hmmmm... Mud Flaps?
I love a debate that is fully based on personal preference I look at it like this - don't drive in the "gutter" when its raining! Get a beater to drive everyday when its rainy or snowy - or settle for wiping your baby down every evening when you get home.
I don't think they look bad (the two examples I see here), but I think its funny - people adding to a car what crotch-rocket owners take off with a hack-saw from their bikes [8D]

RE: Hmmmm... Mud Flaps?
i dont know, is it just me or do the "mud flaps" and "rear wheel splash guards" look like the same thing?
and for what it's worth, I think you should leave them plain. no yosemite sam "back off"....even if your mustang IS the rootin'est tootin'est yeller mustang i ever seen.

Yeah... I just was trying to keep all the burned rubber off my back fender!
I'm coming from owning a silver car. That was a great color because you can not really tell when it gets dirty. Yellow, on the other hand, is a different story.
As for a bra? I think a low profile one is OK but if you plan on taking a cruise up north on the 5, like to SF, you will need it. Even the smallest debris will chip your bumper and hood at 80+ MPH!
