Default A little confused about emissions...

I live in a nonemissions county in Texas, therefore, there is zero smog/emissions testing. So, does this still mean I can get in trouble for running an off-road pipe?

Yes, you can. There are federal laws that regulate a lot of emissions stuff, and the cats are included. If you get cought, you could be subject to a $10K fine for each occurance.

But, I'v never heard of anybody getting fined for that. I don't think I'v ever heard of anybody even getting a ticket.
