They look good in the red. Have you talked to an upholstery shop about laying some vinyl or leather over the inset door panel portion, like from the factory? That probably wouldn't be too expensive. I actually bought some red leather for my '07, but thought with the red exterior that it was too much red. I'm going to end up getting some pony seats charcoal with red inserts probably. Then I'll have the doors done as I just described.

 

The custom shop that I used says that you can't add leather to the door panels aftermarket because of the contours in the panels. The headrests really look good.
