Default GT500 Brakes?

What's everyones take on these? Looking to upgrade the brakes and saw these as a good alternative. If these brakes are worth it I'll be switching to the last gen s-style 18" wheels with backspacing of: 5.9" and offset of: +24mm. Will the GT500's brakes fit in these wheels without adding spacers?

Ive heard that the GT500 Brembo's will not clear any bullet style wheels.

The gt500 brakes in my opinion is not worth it. Thought it is cost effective in price, but the 1 piece rotors are massively heavy. They will add a lot of weight to the front end and kill acceration. I have also heard that the Calipers have no replacement parts. If there is leak in the gaskit, you will have to buy new calipers. Hope this helps.

Those were the reasons I went with the Baer GT-Plus kit. It uses two-piece rotors with PBR calipers (same type as Corvette). Not as "blingy" as Brembos, but slightly less cost, lighter rotors, and the calipers have replacement parts.
