Default Problem when starting - need some suggestions

Since Friday I've noticed a slight hesitation when starting my 05 Mustang. It's very slight but a hesitation none the less. Twice the clock on the radio went back to 12 like it lost power. The preset stations were ok but the clock reset. My first thought was the battery. I bought the car used and as far as I know the battery has never been changed. I went to a local auto parts store. They hooked it up and said the battery was fine. I've got a tuner on the way and would like to figure out what the problem is before I load the new tune. Any suggestions?

Hey bterry29,
If you are still running the original factory battery then you may want to consider changing it anyway. There have been many post in the past concerning the original factory battery. I had a problem simular to yours and though my battery checked ok and seemed to have a lot of life left in it, I changed it anyway and have not had any problems since. All of the mustang owners that I know in my area with 05 & 06 stangs have had to change thier battery. Good Luck!
