They won't affect your emissions at all. Technically, or at least according to my local law they are illegal. But, when coupled with a stock H-pipe, I don't think they are loud enough to get a ticket.

Is this exhaust too loud, will you be ticketed?

You won't be ticketed, most cops like our Mustangs anyways. I've teased a cop with a little rev several times, no problems.

Here is my write-up on the install and performance w/video: https://mustangforums.com/forum/2005-2014-mustangs/324179-review-slp-loudmouth-axle-back-video-clip.html

Hope this helps...

It depends on which state you live in whether they are legal or not.
And the reason is this.

The loudmouths are a muffler delete. Some states require not ONLY an emmsions
passing.... but also mufflers due to noise. (thus a visual inspection may be done)
The thing is that really you don't need to worry about it.

Inspection sticker is what you have to worry about and not tickets as long as you dont rev it up a hella lot in front of a cop.
Also..it should not be that hard to find a shop that will pass you on inspection, regardless
of what state you are in. If one does not pass you... find another.
Look for run down places or a place that you know... or a place where a friend or relative knows
people there.
