Default console scratches!!!!!!!!

I really hate all the little scratches on my center console...anyone ever try to buff them out or are there any other solutions.

Cant buff the grained plastic.
A heat gun can remove some of the 'white' scratches.
But its a fine line between just hot enough and too hot.

You can check with your local dealer who they use to fix interior stuff like that. You would be amazed at some of the stuff they can do. I had a stereo shop screw up a tweater hole in one of my new F150 $500 door panels, and they actually repaired the hole and you couldnt tell where it was.

Let us know if you find something that works. I have scratches on my center console by my cupholders from trying to use a vacuum at a gas station. I tried to run the hose across my center console so I wouldnt have to turn my car around and it scratched the hell out of my plastic.

"A heat gun can remove some of the 'white' scratches." +1 i always use a small butane torch to get rid of the "small white" scratches and "white stress marks"

I had the same thing happen to me on my previous vehicle soon after I purchased it brand new. I used the gas station vacuum one time and it scratched the heck out of the interior door sills and for that reason I will never use the gas station vacuum again.
