First new car.

We have no shortage of project cars around here.
1969 Mustang Grande
1969 GTO
1972 Trans Am
1973 Sportroof
1973 Mach I gold
1973 Mach I blue
1977 Trans Am
I don't plan to change the '09 yet. I want to put a few miles on it first.
I might put the CAI on it though. Does the tuner do anything to the warranty?
It is a toss up on which car is faster right now. I know in an 1/8 mile my '73 would win. 1/4 would be close and any more than that would go to the '09.

This car is just for general transportation, work, shopping and cruising. I don't plan to make it a race car.
The big reason is when I looked at all the Mustangs on the lot it was the only one with a glass roof. It is a convertible without the wind. I love it.
The other cars they had were a torch red GT 5spd manual that has black stripes. Nice car but no hood scoop, and no glass roof.
Grabber orange GT loaded with everything. ( No glass roof.) I don't know what trans it had because it was too loud for me to look at. ( No offense to those who like it.)
The others were V6s.
They did have a 2004 Mach I 30k miles that I may have bought if it was a different color. It was white and just didn't do anything for me.

The '73 is a 3F02H; 1973 Dearborn Sportroof 351C 2V. The Cobra on the grille is off of
my old 1976 Cobra II that I sold years ago.
The '73 gets up and goes with 3.89:1 gears Edelbrock intake, Carter AFB, Kieth Black 10.5:1 pistons,
Mallory Unilite dist, headers and a built C6.
It takes off quicker than the '09. The '09 is a lot smoother, but lags a bit at the start.
'73 gets 14-17mpg.
'09 is an average of 24.6 according to the car.
