ok - put the LCA's back on today. Still drives great, which means it had to be the relocation brackets. As i look at them a little closer, it looks like the one is actually bent, right below where it mounts to the stock axle location. That would mean that whether it was welded on or not, this would have still happened. It also explains why that one was a bear to get off! at least it's fixed now!

Bending is common without welding. Weld the next set and you won't have any problems. I'm trying to picture exactly where you are talking about, but I've never heard of a welded set bending, so I'm fairly confident welding will fix it in the future.

Glad everything has come out OK and the problem identified.
Extra "hinges" in your suspension are never a good thing. That's why I have always recommended that people weld bolt-on relo brackets in anyway.
