Finally had a chance to get a quick video of my set-up. I'm thinking the x-pipe set-up sounds better but this isn't too bad now that I stand outside and listen. Let me know what you think.

I have the kooks with catted X, and Corsa mufflers. It's pretty dam loud at WOT. Your clip is short, but I think it sounds better. The catted H wasn't available when I got mine, or I would have probably went with it instead.

+1 to this is a perfect sound on the s197. I currently have slp lm with o/r x. I have mac Lt waiting to be installed and I am ordering just the mufflers from summit, the pypes mvsomething and just getting them welded in and keeping my slp as my tips since they are already powdercoated didnt want to sell them.

Heres the link if anybody is interested, cheaper to get these wleded in and have a shop weld on tps for you. even though they are only $300 the mufflers are 44 on summit so $90 then maybe another 100 for some tips so its still cheaper....

that still sounds pretty good it just doesnt scream in the upper rpm range as the x pipe does.

Listened to those clips of the black car. Damn, is my car THAT freakin' loud??? I'm really thinking of putting another set of resonator mufflers under the car, maybe in the axle back pipe. Wish I had a vert so I could hear it better from outside but that would probably be painful. I'm guessing that's why you want something quieter. (I think the H-pipe sounds better than the X btw).

Thanks for the feedback. Driving the car all I hear is the exhaust trumpeting pretty darn loud. I think that is coming from the Paxton as it doesn't really start until 4Krpm when it's pushing some air. I just don't like the trumpeting but then when I hear the clips it sounds great. Not sure what I'll do at the moment.
