Going to switch to a set of black GT500 wheels and then upgrading the brakes...my question is, "Could I upgrade my brakes with the braking upgrades that the GT500 has in the after market? I was looking at the GT500 kit...but thought if I was going with GT500 wheels and there are upgrades for the GT500 in braking I could use those, as the wheels will clear the brakes?" Haha yes I want MASSIVE braking power...

Im not sure if Im getting your question. Are you asking about different pads or 2 pc. rotors that work with the GT500 calipers? Try Stillen. I got my new offset MRR wheels and will be installing my Brembo's this week. Finally.

 

If I go with the GT500's stock wheels...can I purchase the brakes that are offered on different sites as upgrades for the GT500's system...such as these: http://www.evoperform.com/shop/index...roducts_id=436

 

I dont think those will work with the GT500 rims. That is the Supersnake upgrade 6 pistons, unless I was looking at the wrong item. But ask the guys at Evolution. They are GT500 Gods and they probably know or will be able to find out.
