Default A/C doesn't work properly.

I'm having a problem with my A/C in my 2007 Mustang. Whenever I put the A/C on, it won't go past one speed no matter if I have it on number 1 or 4. When I put it on, I hear a ticking from the engine bay and the A/C Compressor seems to spin and than stop, than start again. I'm assuming this isn't how it's supposed to be but I never paid really close attention to it before so I don't know. Any tips? Stealership time? What should I tell them? I don't want them telling me the problem is my SHR A/C ***** haha.

You're saying the fan speed doesn't change? What about with the A/C off - does the fan speed change then? If not, go to the dealership. Make sure the ***** are on there right...
