Default Weird sequential problem

Using my remote, i'm able to flash the new sequentials i put in this afternoon. after returning from a drive tonight, i noticed that only 2 of the tail lights on the left side lit when the sequential pattern was activated. i was hasty in diagnosing the problem, simply writing it off as a bad bulb. it seems that the bulb itself works outside of the flashing sequence. if the headlights are turned on, the bulb is dimly lit along with the rest of the tail lights. however, the bulb does not flash in sequence (turn signal, braking, flashers, etc). i can only imagine it's a problem with the harness, but has anyone ever encountered this issue before, and if so, were you able to fix it?

i got my sequentials from AM, so i guess if it's not a simple fix, they'll have to go back, right?

I noticed that it seems like the bulb doesn't light up whenever it is required to be bright. Dim lighting still works though according to your description. I would try a new bulb before you go through the hassle of sending the harness back.

so it's possible for the filament to be just slightly damaged that it cannot be brightly lit?

Mine has the same issue when I lock my car with the remote. Sometimes 2 of the 3 will light up and sometimes all 3 do...I too got the from AM as well. theres no issue when drive with the headlights on so IDK...

Change your bulb. Always start at the lowest solution, I am sure it's the problem.

so all three sequence when the car is turned on/moving, regardless of whether the headlights are off or on?
