4.10s on a 2005 mustang gt?

The only thing I would be worried about is if your wife drives the car in the rain. If she has to pull out on to a busy street and give it some gas, she is more likely to oversteer with the 4.10s in the rear and have an accident. If she has stoplights everywhere, or light traffic, i wouldnt worry about it. Just something to think about.

70mph + 5th gear + 4.10's + stock tire height = 2,450 rpm
I love my 4.10's! I am not a racer at all. My car will never see a drag strip or a street race. The 4.10's are great for everyday driving. It's really not as huge of a difference in acceleration as everyone makes it out to be. Is it noticeable? Yes. But it's not like you're going to spin tires by accident. To spin tires you still have to dump the clutch with an engine rev. You can't just stomp on the gas and expect to lay rubber down the street.
