It would look similar to this T-Top, but remove the center piece.

I think what you are trying to describe ( from this statement ) would actually be called a targa top.

AAAAAH! A targa, yeah that's much easier to contend with than a full removable hardtop. Tough to make retrofitted targas water-tight though.

Any advice I'll take it, because the only place I found thus far that will do this is West Coast Customs. Most people don't want to have to deal with the reframing. I did find one place that would T-Top it though.

A targa would be totally awesome, so would a T top for that matter. I would be concerned with it leaking. I had a t Top in the 80s and it always leaked.

Good luck, Please post pictures if you go for it.

what was the quote from west cost customs? I would really love to have a targa or t-tops also.. but we need to keep the cost down though.

i dunno, im not a targa top fan... i just dont like the look. something sleek about a full convertible top being down... do they make a removable COMPLETE hard top for the stang vert tho? kinda like the Tbird? just to give the cloth a break once in a while

Quote I received was about $4000, I sent them a design via e-mail and never received a response, only when I called. I'm sure they get swamped with e-mails, because their site kept saying not to send them anything about trying to get on "Pimp my ride"

I am still looking for another place that will do this, because I think we Southern Cali drivers could get another shop to do this and bring them good business, thus bringing down the cost, rather than go to a big name location.
